This is the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

Very graceful, obviously designed to look like a sail and very successful. I wish we had something unique like that but we don't!

I was looking through the same eyes as powerstwinb!!! I thought it was some giant sprinkler...:>O LOL!
Now that I really know what it is, I think it would be a lot of fun. I have always loved things like that, having been to Disneyland the year it opened(Gee, I am old!!!)and the old wooden roller coaster at Long Beach.

Well isn't that amazing. I was all set to say sorry for the late post - and the reason was we were travelling at the weekend - into Portsmouth! It's a journey we do several times a year so I know the Spinnaker Tower very well!
